The Studio

The Studio is Craft’s standalone media workshop — a place to generate images, videos, and music without opening a project. Everything you make there lands in a personal library you can browse, download, and pull into your worlds later. Open it from the Studio entry in the left navigation. On mobile, the create button’s Image, Video, and Song options drop you into the matching tab.

The Studio has three tabs — Images, Videos, and Music — each with its own generation form on the left and a gallery of everything you’ve made on the right.

Images

The Images tab is the deepest of the three. The Generate panel has a Mode picker with four options:

  • Text to Image — describe what you want, pick a model and a size, and generate.

  • Image to Image — upload a source image and describe how to transform it.

  • Combine — upload two to four images and describe how to merge them into one.

  • Remove Background — upload an image and get it back as a transparent PNG.

Models trade price against quality, and the model picker shows what each one costs, so you can rough out ideas on a cheap model and save the expensive one for finals. There’s also an Upload tab for bringing in your own art — uploading is free.

Click any image in the gallery to open it, give it a title, copy its prompt, download it, or delete it. Hover (or tap) the checkbox on a card to select several at once and download or delete them together.

Videos

The Videos tab generates short clips in two modes. Text to Video takes a prompt and an aspect ratio. Image to Video takes a still image plus a prompt describing the motion — handy for bringing something you made in the Images tab to life. Finished videos play right in the gallery and can be downloaded from each card’s menu.

Music

The Music tab writes original tracks from a text prompt. Pick a Type — Clip (30s) or Full Song (~2 min) — describe the genre, mood, and instruments, and generate. Prompts can include lyrics with section tags like [Verse] and [Chorus]; the built-in prompting tips have examples you can click to use. You can also attach reference images to steer the mood. Each track’s menu has an Edit Details option for the title, genre, and cover image, plus download and delete.

Using Studio media in projects and games

The library is meant to feed your worlds:

  • Images — every image field in a project (a character’s portrait, a location’s art, a map element) has an Add from Studio option alongside Upload and Generate with AI. Pick anything from your library and it’s applied to the file.

  • Music — the music player in the project top bar (see The Project Workspace) and in a game’s controls has an add view with two tabs: generate a new track on the spot, or open Studio and import tracks from your library. Removing a track from a project or game keeps the copy in your Studio, and tracks you generate from inside a project or game show up in the Studio library too.

  • Videos — download them for use anywhere. To animate a moment inside a game, generate the scene image there and use its Animate action instead.
