Patch Notes B0.032 - Deepseek & GPT Luna Discount Periods Ending

Hi Friends!

We hope you've enjoyed the 50% discount on GPT Luna & Terra and the free unlimited DeepSeek period. Unfortunately, both promotions are ending today.

The Luna & Terra discount came directly from our provider, and we passed those savings on to you. That promotion is now ending on their side as scheduled.

The DeepSeek promotion was a little different. We funded that ourselves as a gift to the community for Craft's launch, and also as a way for us to learn more about how people use models when they're completely free and unlimited.

Model Price Changes

We also have a couple of model pricing changes to share.

Whenever providers lower their prices or offer us a discount, we try to pass those savings along to you, just like we did with Luna & Terra. Unfortunately, the reverse is also true. Our providers recently increased the cost of DeepSeek V4 Flash and Hy-3, so we'll need to increase their prices on Craft as well. It depends on whether your turn is input or output heavy, but you can expect turns for these models to go up by about 1.75x. If you are looking for a low cost model, we think MiMo 2.5 is currently the price to performance model.

We're always working to make Craft more cost efficient and get the best model pricing we can. We want to make sure you have access to the best models at prices that are both sustainable for us and fair to you.

Unlimited Models

One of the reasons we ran the free DeepSeek period was to answer a question we've been thinking about for a while: Can we offer unlimited model usage as a permanent part of Craft?

The promotion gave us a lot of useful real world usage data to help us figure that out.

We're still crunching the numbers, but we're working toward offering unlimited model options for Pro and Premium, as well as more free model usage for Free and Starter.
