Improvements and Fixes

  • Fixed crashes that could lock you out of a game for good — a broken message, panel, or sidebar now shows a small placeholder while the rest of the game keeps working.
  • Fixed issues and made improvements for when the AI used grep to perform search, fixing downstream issues where they AI would try to write new files when a search mistakenly came back empty.
  • Fixed the GM moving the wrong token when several tokens on a map shared a name.
  • Fixed the GM being unable to open the file a map token links to, while keeping hidden files hidden.
  • Fixed the AI breaking when switching models after using a GPT model.
  • Fixed the word "spec" occasionally appearing in the middle of GM narration.
  • Fixed empty divider cards appearing in story view, while keeping scene dividers visible in chat.
  • Improved story view's progress labels so a finished step still reads as part of the unfolding scene.
  • Fixed dice roll cards failing to load in systems with many file types, and made them name the character rolling more reliably.
  • Fixed long dice formulas overflowing the roll card on phones and in narrow side panels.
  • Orbit can now work for up to 20 minutes on long tasks and reports what it finished instead of failing with a generic error.
  • Fixed Orbit reporting background work as complete when it had actually been cut short.
  • Dialogs now open as bottom sheets on phones instead of desktop popups.
  • Fixed file previews on phones showing only the first screenful with no way to scroll the rest.
  • Fixed the welcome and platform intro screens getting squashed on phones, and skipped the Discord step there.
  • Fixed documentation navigation layout on phones.
  • Fixed show and hide rules on fields, so a toggle can hide a section the way it was set up to.
  • Fixed installing a package failing when the destination world had matching files sitting in the trash.
  • Fixed a game's GM instruction file-type filters getting lost when the game was published back to its project.
  • Improved the performance of large scale hex maps.
  • Rebuilt the bulk expression pickers so the cast list sits beside a live cost breakdown, your balance, and how much of the selection it covers.
  • Added search and filters to the bulk expression pickers, and hid characters whose expressions are already finished by default.
  • Updated the project tag picker ui.
  • World pages now lead with how much play their games have generated, and fixed a bug where systems were not showing an accurate usage count.
  • Removed drag-and-drop field reordering from the schema editor.
  • We've retired the previous DeepSeek models, only Deepseek v4 Flash 0731 is available now as it outperforms the previous v4 Pro. V4 Pro will come back once it receives an update from DeepSeek.
