Aspects are true. Fate points are currency. The rest is drama.
The complete Fate Accelerated Edition, ready to play or build on. Sixteen file types cover the whole game: characters whose stress boxes, refresh, and approach ratings compute themselves from the standard rules; aspects with invoke and compel guidance; the six approaches as linked files; stunts, extras, consequences, zones, scenes, and campaign frames. The entire ruleset rides along as searchable rules files — the four actions and four outcomes, the fate point economy, stress and consequences, challenges, contests, and conflicts. A starter campaign frame (Fog Over Corvenna) demonstrates every moving part, with two characters wired into it and four more kept as range samples from other genres — the same sheet, playing sword-and-sorcery, weird west, salvage-yard science fiction and scholarly high fantasy. This is the engine behind The Tragedy of Macbeth and A Midsummer Night's Dream — two published Shakespeare adaptations built on these same sixteen file types, if you want to see it carrying a real setting before you fork it. Based on the Fate Accelerated Edition and Fate Core SRDs by Evil Hat Productions, used under Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 — see the Licensing & Attribution file.
Forked from Craft's Fate Core system template and rebuilt for Fate Accelerated: the skill list collapses to the six approaches, stress becomes one three-box track for everyone, and refresh computes down from baseRefresh as stunts pass three. The rules text is the FAE and Fate Core SRDs, adapted where FAE and Core disagree and left verbatim where they don't. The arithmetic lives in the schemas rather than the prose, so a change to how the game works is a schema edit and a rule edit together — the Builder's Manual calls this the two-edit rule and it is the single most useful thing to know before forking.
Fog Over Corvenna, the demo campaign, is original and disposable: it exists to show every file type carrying real content, and it is meant to be deleted. The four non-Corvenna characters are range samples, marked as such in their own notes.
