Making a Character
Character creation begins with your idea, even when that idea is incomplete. You can describe a polished concept, scatter fragments into Open Notes, or let the creator match you with appropriate records from the world. A category choice narrows the menu; it is not permission to replace your more specific choice with a generic one.
The completed Character should be playable, not merely evocative. It includes a real Species, Class, eligible Subclass, Background, starting level, six ability scores, hit points, defenses, proficiencies, languages, equipment, money, features, resources, attacks, and a legal spell list when applicable. Story answers shape personality, bonds, goals, fears, appearance, independent life, and hooks. They do not excuse missing mechanics.
Faith is optional and plural. Choose no Divine Power, one, or several. Attraction and romance are optional too. You may describe what draws the character in, say that they are aromantic or asexual, leave it undecided, ask to discover it through play, or omit it entirely. Neither a faith tier nor an attraction score grants anyone access to the character.
Before accepting the result, check the exact things you care about most: name, appearance, Species, Class, level, ability assignment, spellcasting, gear, languages, faith, and boundaries. Correcting a generated detail is ordinary authorship, not a failure.
