Welcome to Your World
This system gives your table a world that can remember, react, and keep moving without taking the story away from you. It is an adaptive living sandbox by default: quests, dangers, relationships, mysteries, politics, downtime, travel, and ordinary life can all exist, while you choose what deserves attention. Its rules are rooted in familiar d20 fantasy play, but the setting, genre, peoples, powers, technology, tone, and level of magic belong to the project built from it.
You play a person, not a prompt for the world to orbit. You choose your character's decisions, dialogue, thoughts, feelings, beliefs, attraction, consent, and intentions. The Game Master plays the world: other people, uncertainty, resistance, consequences, discoveries, and what happens beyond your character's control. A quest can be declined. A villain can matter without becoming your assigned storyline. Quiet play is still play.
Files on your sheet are shared memory. A Character records who you are and what you can do. Party records the cumulative traveling group and shared resources. The current Scene records where attention is now and who is actually present. The World Clock records when it is. Campaign State remembers durable changes and your current play preferences. Definitions such as Species, Class, Language, and Divine Power explain what those things mean in this particular world.
You never need to use every system. A character may have no faith, no romance, no faction, no spellcasting, or no interest in combat. Empty can be an intentional answer. Preferences can change during play; boundaries remain authoritative.
