Omens

The battlefield is not a fortunate place. All are held at weapon's edge, friend or foe. It is a place where fear and weapons meet. Perhaps the charade of cruel powers benefits the most sadistic or the most immaculate; how you survive determines which you are.

Your Omens

All grvnts have a number of Omens allocated to their Class. On a gray, new dawn — only after all Omens have been expended — you regain all spent Omens.

Spending Omens

Omens can be spent on these effects:

1. Dealing maximum damage with an attack.
2. Rerolling a dice roll — yours or someone else's.
3. Lowering damage dealt to you by d6.
4. Neutralizing a crit or fumble.
5. Lowering one test's DR by −4.
