A Living Continent of Post-Imperial Cold War, Biopunk Magic, and Ontological Honesty
Welcome to **Xerulia** in the year **872 A.R.** (After Release).
For four millennia, the High Elven Empire of **Aethelgard** bound the continent inside a rigid arcane stasis known as the *Gilded Cage*. Seventeen years ago, a joint uprising of Elven Reformists and Dragonborn commandos shattered the imperial throne. Five years later, the great **Healing Ritual of 860 A.R.** cleansed the poisoned heartlands—but went supercritical, unleashing the **Verdant Blight** and awakening deep planetary forces.
Now, in **872 A.R.**, the fragile peace is fracturing: - **Mallea**, the miraculous living sanctuary city, struggles to hold its multi-species coalition together. - **Skaldenfast**, the volcanic Dragonborn fortress-state, industrializes with gravity-defying **Kinemancy**. - **The Green Accord** enforces radical ecological supremacy from the colossal canopy of **Sylvangrove**. - **The Dwarves of Thrum-Kardan** have breached the surface at the Deep Fracture with a desperate tectonic ultimatum: the surface's lush rebirth is draining their living subterranean god to death.
Step off the high-speed counterweight lift into **Aurelia's Laugh** at **Weave Crossroads** as a newly arrived adventurer—or use **Director Commands** (`[Echo: ...]`, `[Pulse: Regional/Global]`, `[POV: ...]`) to simulate and explore the living geopolitical ecosystem of Xerulia.
