The Great Crusade is collapsing. Brother turns against brother, entire Legions choose between loyalty and betrayal, and humanity’s greatest empire begins tearing itself apart from within.
Players enter the opening years of the Horus Heresy as Astartes, soldiers, Mechanicum adepts, remembrancers, and other survivors caught beneath the footsteps of legends. You may fight beside famous commanders, witness the fall of worlds, uncover treachery, earn promotion, resist corruption, or disappear among the countless dead.
Battles are large, active, and unforgiving. Allied and enemy forces continue fighting beyond the player characters, while armor, ammunition, injuries, positioning, equipment, and raw differences in power determine who survives. A mortal cannot casually defeat an Astartes, and an ordinary Legionary cannot overcome a Primarch through luck alone.
Your choices can save lives, destroy companies, alter local battles, and decide who remains loyal—but history will not stop for you. The war moves forward whether you are victorious, defeated, corrupted, or dead.
**AUTHOR’S NOTE** This is an evolving, canon-focused Horus Heresy campaign built to follow the established timeline, characters, battles, and major events as faithfully as possible. Additional campaigns, factions, quests, locations, characters, rules, and improvements will be added through future updates as the project expands.
