Tamriel (Reborn)

Tamriel lives whether you are watching or not.

Tamriel in 4E 201 is not a theme park waiting for a hero. The Mede Empire is wounded, the Aldmeri Dominion watches from behind treaties and embassies, Skyrim is splitting along a civil-war fault line, old cults and older ruins remain dangerous, and the return of dragons has just turned rumor into catastrophe. Every province carries its own history, faiths, economies, grudges, institutions, and ways of surviving.

This edition runs on the Living World Engine v6.4.1. Time advances. Roads take time. Characters remember. Relationships change from evidence. Factions pursue plans while the player is elsewhere. News travels through witnesses and institutions instead of teleporting into every head. Places retain scars, prosperity, fear, and memory. The player can become important, even legendary, but importance is earned through causality rather than assumed by the universe.

The starting epoch is the morning of Sundas, 17th of Last Seed, 4E 201, at the opening of Skyrim's dragon crisis. The civil war, Alduin, Miraak, Volkihar, the Dawnguard, the guilds, and the political future of the province are unresolved pressures rather than completed quest scripts. Canon supplies the starting world; play decides what happens next.

Author's note

As the Khajiit say, ‘May your road lead you to warm sands.’

Tamriel (Reborn) began with Heffe's enormous project foundation and is continued by Queenofheavens, AvatorofAnon, Castlemanic & JFrederick. This edition opens on Sundas, 17th of Last Seed, 4E 201, with Skyrim's major crises unresolved and the world already in motion.

Skyrim is the deepest playable region in this release; the rest of Tamriel remains present as real geography, history, cultures, institutions, and lore for continued expansion. Canon establishes the starting pieces rather than a railroad: people remember, factions act, news travels through real channels, and consequences can outlive the scene that caused them.
