What You Cloned

This project is Pathfinder Second Edition, Remaster rebuilt as working data under the ORC License: 2,776 files across 21 file types, stitched together by a character sheet that computes two thirds of itself.

The layers

  • Rules/ answers what do the rules say? Eighteen short pages: @Missing file, @Missing file, @Missing file, @Missing file, the three mode pages, @Missing file, @Missing file, @Missing file, and the rest. Reference only — nothing operational hides here.
  • The file types answer what is stored and what is derived? The character type carries 199 fields, 67 of them computed (chapter 2). Ancestries, classes, feats, weapons, and armor are not descriptions; they are the inputs those computations read.
  • Game Master Instructions/ answer what does the GM actually do? Four always-on files and ten event triggers — the runtime, as opposed to the reference (chapter 4).
  • Content records are the nouns: 791 feats, 770 equipment records, 473 spells, 447 creatures, 68 subclasses, 42 conditions, 41 heritages, 40 backgrounds, 32 actions, 17 skill files, 8 ancestries, 8 classes — plus one worked scene, Thornmill Crossing, wired to three playable level 1 pregens.

A real rules change usually touches a pair: the page players read and the schema or instruction that makes it true in play. Change how enfeebled works and you edit @Missing file and the formulas reading enfeebledValue. One without the other gives you a game that says one thing and does another.

The license, precisely

The rules text is used under the ORC License and is based on Licensed Material from Pathfinder Player Core, GM Core, and Monster Core © 2023–2024 Paizo Inc. @Missing file carries the complete ORC Notice, the full attribution roll, the Reserved Material notice, and the license text itself.

What ORC covers is rules text only — systems, procedures, statistics, and functional expressions of play. What it does not cover: the Pathfinder trademark, Paizo's trade dress and artwork, and setting material — deities, nations, iconic characters, proper nouns. None of that is in this project, and none of it should arrive in yours. There are no Paizo logos and no Paizo art here; every image was generated in Craft.

The obligation is real and it travels: if you publish a world built on this project, chapter 5 tells you exactly what you must carry forward.

This is the Remaster — on purpose

The load-bearing Remaster facts are enforced throughout the schemas: attributes are modifiers, not 3–18 scores; there are no alignment mechanics; spells have ranks, not levels; the four traditions are arcane, divine, occult, and primal; classes take subclasses by their own names — muse, doctrine, order, hunter's edge, racket, patron, school. @Missing file is the standing guard on that line. When you add content, add Remaster content.
