Nocturne
A small-scale gothic game of the French Revolution and the vampires who move through its shadows. Nocturne dice.
The night belongs to the hungry
Paris, 1789. The Bastille has fallen, and the city reeks of gunpowder, wet stone, and bread too dear to buy. Two revolutions tear through the same narrow streets: one armed with pamphlets and pikes, the other with thirst and old covenants broken open. You live in both — mortal or bitten, and hungry either way. Small-scale. Brutal. Personal. The dice decide who bleeds; the night decides who remains.
Nocturne is a game of small rooms and long shadows — built for tight tables, tight streets, and tighter throats. It sits where two revolutions meet: the one printing pamphlets in the street, and the one drinking quietly behind closed doors. Expect candlelit salons, gutted barricades, old covenants broken open, and the particular horror of watching someone you trusted start to look at you like a meal. Come for the French Revolution with teeth; stay for the question every character must answer before dawn — what are you still willing to do, and who will you have become by morning?
