Roll under. Lose your mind.

Basic Roleplaying's d100 engine, rebuilt for cosmic horror. Investigators roll percentiles to spot the clue, fire the revolver, or keep their sanity — and the dice decide which of the three they still have by dawn. Complete with a full Sanity System, Mythos creatures, 1920s equipment, and ready-to-run scripts.

Author's note

This project adapts the Basic Roleplaying: Universal Game Engine for Call of Cthulhu-style play. Core pillars: skill-based percentile rolls (roll under), a structured Sanity System with disorders and recovery, curated 1920s-era weapons, armor, and gear, and Mythos creatures scaled for mortal investigators. Every rule element is a browseable card — investigators, creatures, weapons, and armor all render as sheets, and the Sanity Check, Skill Check, Combat Attack, and Character Generator scripts run the mechanics live.
