LIMBO is a gritty survival-horror tabletop RPG about the last days on Earth—and what crawls out after them. Civilization has collapsed beneath plague, famine, violence, and phenomena no one can explain. You are one of the survivors left behind: scavenging ruined towns, rationing every bullet, crafting tools from wreckage, and deciding what parts of yourself you are willing to lose to stay alive.
Built for tense, story-driven play, LIMBO combines the hard choices and deep survival systems of a Cataclysm-inspired apocalypse with the flexible, dangerous mechanics of BURPS. Every expedition is a gamble. Every shelter can become a trap. Food, ammunition, infection, exhaustion, fear, and sanity matter—but so do trust, curiosity, and the terrible discoveries waiting beneath the ruins.
Beyond the dead cities lie escalating threats: eldritch horrors, alien technologies, secret societies, hostile factions, mutated creatures, and survivors with agendas of their own. Scavenge, fight, hide, investigate, and craft your way through a world that does not want you to understand it. In LIMBO, staying alive is an achievement. Finding out why the world ended may be the thing that kills you.
I like end of the world survival fantasy. Unfortunately, no one else was making this kind of world so I did it instead. It came out pretty good and is something different to the high fantasy worlds if you like grit, grounded and modern firearms and gear.
