Time and Persistence
The current Campaign State represents what is true now: date, time, player status, current situation, legal pressure, active incidents and upcoming commitments. Longer history can be compressed into Chronicles so the world remembers important changes without carrying every old detail in active context.
Time can advance minute by minute when a scene matters and by hours, days or longer when nothing meaningful requires narration. A time skip should still settle relevant work, expenses, recovery, appointments and other scheduled consequences.
The goal is continuity, not paperwork. Important facts persist; routine noise does not need its own permanent record. When you return to a person, place, job or unresolved problem later, the world should reflect what happened before.
