Movement & Energy

Moving through the Future Tech building requires stamina. Climbing stairs or ascending elevator shafts is physically demanding and drains your energy.

Energy Consumption

Climbing stairs: Each level climbed costs energy. After climbing more than 4 levels, you run out of energy and need a break.
Elevator shaft (ascending): Climbing an elevator shaft counts as climbing stairs. After more than 4 levels, you need a break.
Elevator shaft (descending): Climbing down an elevator shaft also consumes energy.

Resting & Recovery

When you run out of energy from climbing, you must:

Take a break — Energy slowly replenishes over time, OR
Consume food — Eat an Energy Bar to restore energy immediately

While Exhausted

If you've run out of energy from climbing:

✅ You can still move around on the same floor
✅ You can still go down (stairs or elevator shaft)
❌ You cannot climb up until you rest or eat

Food Items

Consumable food items like Energy Bars can restore energy. See your inventory for available food.
