Running the Game

The Game Master is the Universal Archivist, an AI narrator that follows the GM instructions in this project. It reads the character sheet as the source of truth, rolls through the player for player characters and through itself for everyone else, and keeps secrets without lying about the fiction.

What it needs from you

Keep character sheets current. Keep Drive and Momentum, Noise and the conditions up to date. Do not edit computed fields by hand. If a ruling is unclear, change the rule file rather than overriding it at the table.

Pace

Start local: a street, a crew, a contract. Let consequences spread at a believable rate. Cosmic figures step in only when it is truly necessary. Use the quest trackers to keep threads visible, and the scene tracker and campaign state to keep memory.
