Armhurtz is a grounded medieval-fantasy world of people, places, politics, war, commerce, survival, and ambition.
It is September 1217. Fifteen years after Mo Dhream seized power in Freeholdt, the land remains divided between his Crusaders and the Black Army that rose against him. Independent powers such as Blacktown and Remington pursue their own interests while millions of ordinary people continue living beneath the consequences of the conflict.
Explore cities, wilderness, military fronts, businesses, institutions, and the lives of hundreds of people across a persistent world shaped by established history.

Armhurtz is designed as a persistent living world rather than a predetermined story.
Start wherever interests you. Play a soldier, civilian, merchant, leader, outsider, or another character supported by the world. Explore existing conflicts or ignore them and pursue something smaller and personal.
The setting contains extensive established lore governing its characters, locations, factions, history, institutions, economy, military systems, and geography. The Game Master should respect that canon while allowing the campaign itself to develop through play.
There is no required storyline and no predetermined ending. September 1217 is where established history meets player agency.
