Age of Murim
Enter a living jianghu of mountain sects, imperial intrigue and dangerous roads. Play an established hero or forge your own wanderer, cultivate the arts you earn, and decide what your name will mean when loyalty, ambition and survival pull in different directions.
Under Heaven, Every Promise Has a Price
A disciple waits outside a mountain gate. A prince receives an order bearing a seal he never used. Inside the Heavenly Demonic Academy, ordinary entrants and the Lord’s seven children share classes, meals and dangerous choices while six households argue over the future. Far north, a guide returns to the well with a promise he has yet to keep. Each is a way into the same living world.
Choose an authored life through the Prelude, or Forge Your Own Legend. Follow teachers and companions across mapped cities, sect grounds and desert roads. Earn access to guarded books, learn an exact art, mend equipment or make a meal before the next journey. What you practice changes your abilities; whom you trust changes the road ahead.
WHERE TO BEGIN
The Prelude helps you find a story; the final choice remains yours. Mountain training, court intrigue, street survival, prison escape and military command have their own heroes and openings. In the Northern Desert, play Saran Bat or create A Stranger at the Well.
At the Heavenly Demonic Academy, Children of the Lord offers Haryeong, Seorin, Doha, Nakyung, Mugeon, Juwon and Taerim. A Forgotten Branch follows Seojun’s ordinary entry and guarded family story. Iseul and Yejun keep their distinct paths. The Unclaimed Seat creates an ordinary entrant; Nano Machine — Before the Academy creates your own rescued implant host before admission. Meet24 named classmates through classes, meals, work and actual play.
The four-year academy course starts at actual admission and has six elimination stages. The first three follow published dates; later challenges are voluntary within the course. A valid failed stage ends enrollment. Earned ranks and delivered rewards matter: stages one through five offer finite collection visits, while stage six has a separate sealed archive. Family, cultivation and office remain distinct, and no victory or allegiance is promised.
Premade heroes keep their history, relationships, equipment and injuries. A new hero chooses one permanent Life Path; Nano Machine, Absolute Sword Sense and Poison Dragon Vessel have dedicated origins. Read the three short How to Play pages for training, growth, crafting and companions, then use the Player’s Handbook for detail. There are no character classes or kill experience points. Explore the world map and decide which promises you will keep.
