Building Contracts

Use an existing Contact or Faction as the client. Create a Contract when the job has payment conditions, promises, secrecy terms, disclosed risks, or room for renegotiation. Keep Operation.payout as the short pitch.

After Fallout, compare the deal with what was delivered. A dispute only creates Debt, Exposure, Reputation change, or Faction response when that result follows from the state on the table. If payment remains owed, create one directional Debt and link its Source Contract.
