Vice City, 2032 — a desert border metropolis choking on end-stage capitalism. Rent eats the paycheck before it's earned; the cameras watch every block. You're an ordinary person trying to live an ordinary life, and every full rest brings a dream that costs you. The horror isn't out there. It's in your head — and the city is very, very good at getting in. This game is a modern psychological horror. Players can become anything they want, assuming they find ways to make enough money to do so. This is not a safe place, and it has adult oriented themes based on the real world. Relationships, Property ownership, Jobs/economy, are all baked in. Personalities of the player and NPCs are governed by their Moral Compass tabs, which can evolve over time based on actions they take, and story arcs they endure. Your Sanity will shape how the GM presents the world to you, so it's recommended to protect it so you can tell the difference between what is real, and what is in your head.
The city is the vice. You are the thing being squeezed.
