Core loops: Story
Memory, Relationships, Clocks, Scenes, and Questions
This game also has a series of interrelated systems to manage the pacing and plot of your story. Each GM message logs an event in the Event Log. At the end of a scene, events are archived into a Scene file. The GM has rules to know when to end a scene, or you can pick the moment when it feels right. At the end of a scene, the GM creates clocks, updates relationship tags, and starts planning the next scene. Scene planning is action oriented - all scenes have a clear antagonist, as well as background tensions informed by your active clocks.
"Questions" allow you to track mysterious comments made by your GM or NPCs - vague intimations that you want to get to the bottom of. By gathering these hits into questions, they become relevant to shaping the story rather than random, non-commital evasions.
