In the beginning, there was the First Verse. No one remembers who sang it. No one agrees on what the words were. Yet its echoes remain in every corner of Aurelia. Here, stories are not merely told they linger. A beloved sword may awaken and remember every hand that carried it. An old lantern may develop opinions after generations of guiding travelers home. Animals may speak with wisdom, mischief, or surprising honesty. Even the world itself seems to listen, responding subtly to memory, emotion, and intent. This is a land where songs rise naturally from joy, grief, courage, and love. Where gods embody contradictions rather than creation. Where nightmares are devoured so others may wake. Where forgotten truths wait patiently beneath accepted ones. Kingdoms rise. Tales are born. Legends wander roads they do not yet know will matter. And somewhere, beyond every story already written, another is waiting to begin.
The world is mostly half done with the main regions houses and NPC's, after that i'll tweak the starting points as my featured characters work better with specific areas, mostly because of their backstories. Some I made better because of mostly favouritism. After that I"ll populate the world with minor characters, monsters and magic. So if any of you stick around, I hope you'll like the world.
