Who will you be when the world breaks?
Varendor is a vast medieval-fantasy world where kingdoms rise and fall, monsters roam, factions pursue their own agendas, and ancient secrets lie buried beneath civilization. There is no chosen one and no predetermined story. The world lives and changes independently of the player. Explore freely, build relationships, seek fortune, become powerful—or simply survive. Danger is real, combat is unscaled, and neither the player nor their companions are protected by plot armor.
Empires of Varendor came from an idea that DND, especially online or solo DND should be rewarding and hard. It shouldn't treat you like the hero, in fact maybe you're the villain in this story.
