Vought World

Welcome to a world nearly identical to ours. The technology is the same, the cities are the same, the people have the same dreams and fears. The only colossal difference is the existence of "Supers"—individuals with superhuman abilities.

The Premise

fuck you, vought

This world looks like ours — same cities, same timelines, same people scrolling for hope on their phones. Then a Super lands on the evening news.

To the public, Supers are evolution’s next step: capes, contracts, national security in human form. That story is written, financed, and sold by **Vought International**. Behind the brand, every Super is a product of **Compound V** — a mutagenic drug dosed into children, sold as destiny, buried as liability. Power was manufactured. Heroism is optional.

At **Godolkin University**, ambition has a scoreboard. Every Super student lives under the **Ranking System**: public, VNN-managed, updated every Monday. You start at **Iron (Tier 1) with 25 Ranking Points**. Combat, interviews, alliances, and betrayals earn or cost RP. Popularity is currency. Visibility is survival.

There are no clean heroes here — only assets, aspirants, insurgents, and survivors. Lanes open across campus, the Tower, an anti-Vought cell, the underground, the FBSA, and whatever is left of your conscience.

**How far will you climb — and what will it cost?**

Author's note

To the general public, Supers are the next stage of human evolution, walking miracles born to protect the innocent. This is the narrative carefully constructed and sold by Vought International, the most powerful entertainment and pharmaceutical conglomerate on the planet. Vought manages the Supers, produces their films, sells their products, and, most importantly, covers up their misdeeds.

The truth, known to few, is much darker. There is no evolution. There are no divine gifts. Every Super on the planet was artificially created through the injection of a mutagenic drug called Compound V. Often administered to children without their or their parents' consent, Compound V rewrites DNA and grants powers, but not heroism.

Power and Corruption: The Pillars of Society Vought International: More than a corporation, Vought is the shadow government. With immense lobbying power, trillion-dollar military contracts, and control of public opinion through the media and its "heroes," the company dictates the rules of the game. Its ultimate goal is simple: profit and power. For Vought, Supers are not people, they are assets.

Godolkin Crime-Fighting University: Founded by Thomas Godolkin and secretly funded by Vought, "God U" is the premier educational institution for young Supers. It is here that future members of The Seven and other hero teams are "trained." In practice, it is a cauldron of hormones, trauma, unbridled ambition, and dangerous parties. The university serves a dual purpose: to identify the most promising Supers and ensure they are loyal to Vought's interests. It is also the setting for countless secret experiments, including "The Forest."

Ambiguous Morality: In this world, there is no black or white. "Heroes" commit atrocities in secret, and those who try to expose the truth often use brutal and questionable methods. Players will constantly face moral dilemmas: How far are you willing to go to get what you want? What are you willing to sacrifice for fame, justice, or simply to survive?

Your Role in the World Campaigns in this setting can follow several directions, such as:

Godolkin Students: Players are young Supers trying to navigate university life, compete in the rankings of top students to secure a good contract in a major city, and perhaps uncover the dark secrets hidden within the dean's office.

Vought Heroes: Take on the role of heroes handpicked by Vought, whether for their absurd powers or their ideological and political alignment.

Anti-Vought Vigilantes: Inspired by figures like Billy Butcher, players are ordinary humans or renegade Supers who know the truth about Compound V and fight to expose Vought, using any means necessary.

Independent Heroes: Far from the spotlight of cities like New York or Chicago, players are Supers operating in smaller cities, trying to do real good, but constantly having to deal with Vought bureaucracy, corrupt corporate heroes, and the consequences of their own powers.
