Spira is a beautiful, death-haunted world of tropical islands, sacred temples, bright seas, ruined cities, glowing pyreflies, and ancient sorrow. Its people live beneath the shadow of Sin, a colossal monster that rises from the ocean to destroy ships, armies, machina, and settlements that grow too large or advanced.

This version of Spira follows the core Final Fantasy X world, faith, tone, races, Sin cycle, pilgrimage culture, and Yevon-era atmosphere, but expands the map with original eastern regions, towns, temples, trade routes, fiends, local customs, and NPCs. Mistwake, Reedlight Fen, Rootwater Delta, Cinderroot Springs, Kazarai Caldera, Glasssalt Terraces, Pearlring Atolls, the Lucent Sea, the Three Bells Songstresses, and related characters are custom additions designed to feel consistent with Spira rather than replace canon. Use canon lore as the foundation, and use these additions as extra regional depth for travel, storytelling, and adventure.
