The Great Pirate Era is yours to sail
Set out in Year 1522 as a canon character or an original one carving a route through the One Piece world.
KEEL 6.5.1 moves the engine closer to Craft itself. A small pinned Core protects player ownership, conversational turn-taking, live truth and NPC knowledge limits. Narrative Triggers inject travel, combat, conversation, map/time and checkpoint guidance only when those subjects matter; GM Tool guards enforce Character, Location, Campaign Configuration and runtime-Lore write rules at the moment a mutation is attempted. T1/T2 keep routing compact; T2 also guarantees a significance check for durable event, bond and knowledge changes.
The GM plans before prose. NPCs keep independent motives, limited information, uneven competence and real blind spots. If an NPC says something the player may reasonably answer, the GM stops instead of playing through the conversation alone. Quiet work, jokes, travel and ordinary people are allowed to stay ordinary.
Journeys still use an Active Route and the regional map as their spine, but planning no longer means pre-creating an entire route. Places, NPCs and objectives begin as provisional possibilities and are promoted to durable files only when the player enters, investigates, invests, revisits, accepts, or future continuity clearly needs them. High-confidence next stops and central NPCs may still be staged one beat ahead when that prevents map or characterization drift.
Persistence stays deliberately light. Same-location movement, dialogue, temporary posture, scene tension and transient NPC intent remain in chat/map. Current Story is checkpoint/orientation memory. Significant events, asymmetric relationships and individual knowledge have explicit durable owners. Campaign Configuration holds only resolved live references.
The project includes a large playable compendium of characters, locations, abilities, factions, ships and canon reference material. Current campaign truth beats future canon and prepared possibility: famous characters and planned encounters do not become present without a causal bridge.
In active development. The KEEL benchmark judges autonomy, conversational turn protection, NPC believability, pacing, native-trigger reachability, mutation discipline, spatial clarity, planning coherence, and whether the player genuinely wants to continue.
