Dungeon Break
Earth in 2060, seventeen years after the Gates opened. Dungeon Break on Craft Lite: 2d6 + stat, Health, three resource pools and XP-priced abilities.
Seventeen years since the Opening. The Gates are still there.
Dungeon Break is set on the real Earth in 2060. Seventeen years ago tears in space opened all over the world. People call them Dungeon Gates, or just Gates. Nothing has ever passed through one from our side and nothing has ever destroyed one. What comes out are monsters, and they keep coming.
You play a Breaker. Breakers are people who were exposed to a Gate and came away with powers. They take the work ordinary soldiers and police cannot survive. They work out of fortified cities and command centers, take contracts, form teams and deploy to active Gates.
A Gate cannot be closed. It can only be forced into dormancy by a clear. Isolate the area, cut off the monsters' ability to spread, kill the waves that come out, seal it with a machine called a seal rig, then watch it until it wakes up again.
This is not a war anyone wins. It is a job that has to keep being done.
The Craft Lite adaptation to Dungeon Break. You can find the original on Friends & Fables. I hope you enjoy all the work I put into building this game! It's a massive world, explore Earth and have fun saving the world like a real hero!
