Isekai: Baldur's Gate 3
A human from our world wakes on the shores of Faerûn, the wreck of a nautiloid still burning. A Baldur's Gate 3 fan campaign.
YOU FELL ASLEEP ON EARTH. YOU WOKE UP ON THE BEACH...
There is a tadpole behind your eye. There is a burning wreck on the sand behind you. And there is no version of this where you get to go home the way you came.
You are not from here. You know this world — you have read about it, argued about it, maybe played it. None of that prepared you for the smell, or the cold, or how fast a goblin closes distance. Your knowledge is an advantage and a burden: you know some of what is coming, and knowing changes it.
Faerûn does not care that you are a tourist. The people you meet are not quest-givers. And the tiefling with an engine where her heart should be will decide, fairly quickly, whether you are worth her time.
Built on Craft Lite: three stats, 2d6, no levels. Simple enough to stay out of the way of the story. NOTE: THIS IS NOT D&D 5E. FAERÛN WITHOUT THE D20.
I've been a role-playing gamer for over 45 years. I now enjoy playing with an LLM as the game master. I’m looking for mechanics that are much simpler than those of D&D, and the Craft Lite system, by Pollution, is perfectly suited for this. The only thing that will differ fundamentally from the Craft Lite system is memory management. The game is in French, but you can ask the GM to run the game in another language.
