A land of magic and science, gods and demons, and the lives of mortals making their way in the world.
In Delianora, arcane wonders and industrial machines share the same streets, while gods and demons wage an eternal struggle just beyond mortal sight. Every choice a mortal makes — from the scholar in her brass observatory to the knight bearing a blessed blade — tips the balance between salvation and ruin.
Delianora was not always a land of two worlds. In the Age of Foundations, the gods wove magic into the very fabric of the world, gifting mortals the ability to shape reality through will and word. For millennia, empires rose on the strength of sorcery — crystal towers and enchanted kingdoms that bent nature to their whims. But the demons, jealous of the gods' creation, whispered forbidden knowledge into mortal ears: the secrets of steel, steam, and combustion. What began as temptation became revolution. The Age of Artifice dawned, and within three centuries, machines stood where spells once reigned — not replacing magic, but rivaling it.
Now, in the present age, Delianora balances on a knife's edge. The gods retreat ever further into their celestial realms, their influence waning as faith gives way to industry, while demons grow bolder in the shadows of progress. Nations are divided between the arcane and the mechanical, and between them, a fragile middle ground of those who would wield both — or neither. It is an era of wonder and terror, where a single invention or a single prayer could decide the fate of all creation.
Still an early work in progress
